You need:

Smooth flat stones 
Paint brushes
Acrylic paints 
Felt tip markers 

Instructions:

1. Collect some stones.

2. Clean and dry the stones. 

3. Paint the rocks and let them dry completely.

4. Add lines and other designs with the markers. 

The painted stones can be used as paper weights or ornaments.
