Grand Canyon

Carved out by the Colorado River, the grand Canyon (nearly 1500 m deep) is the most spectacular gorge in the world and is located in the state of Arizona, U.S. Its 277 mile (446km) long.

Its noted for its fantastic shaped and colours. The colour of the canyon's red, but each layer has a unique shade- green and pink, buff and grayand brown, slate-gray and violet. It is home to approximately 70 species of mammals, 250 species of birds, 25 types of reptiles and five species of amphibians, Willow trees and cottonwoods grow there too. The Grand Canyon, with its mile-high , multicoloured rock walls, craggy cliffs, and sandy slopes, is the embodiment of nature’s awesome power and unsurpassable beauty.
