Class 12 accounts papers that name the mistake

Most practice material can tell you a figure is wrong. These papers tell you which mistake produced it, and how often you repeat it across everything you sit. Start by picking the board you are entered for.

Pick your board

This is the only choice on this page. Each route is written to one board and then carries on into the two entrance examinations most commerce students meet next — which at Class 12 examine the same partnership and company accounts your board paper gives most of its marks to.

ISC

  • ISC (CISCE) Class 12 Accounts
  • 80 marks, 3 hours
  • CA Foundation, then CSEET
The ISC route →

CBSE

  • CBSE Class 12 Accountancy (055)
  • 80 marks, 3 hours
  • CA Foundation, then CSEET
The CBSE route →

A free account on either route opens three complete papers — one for the board, one for CA Foundation, one for the CSEET. The route page sets out what is in them and what the account keeps.

Questions

Which of the two should I pick?

Whichever board your school follows. No student sits both ISC and CBSE, so there is nothing to weigh up here — and each route then carries on into CA Foundation Paper 1 and CSEET Paper 2, which is where most commerce students go next.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing. A free account opens three complete papers: one written for your board, one at CA Foundation level and one at CSEET level. The rest of the catalogue is ₹999 for a year of your route, and you can read the full list of what that covers from inside the free account before deciding.

Are these full papers or chapter exercises?

Full papers. Each is a complete sitting written to one syllabus — eighty marks and three hours for a board paper, a hundred for an entrance — rather than a set of questions on a single chapter.

Who are these papers for?

Class 12 commerce students under the CISCE or the CBSE, and candidates preparing CA Foundation Paper 1 Accounting or CSEET Paper 2 Fundamentals of Accounting.
