Full papers, eighty marks, three hours, written to Accountancy (055) β where partnership and company accounts carry 60 of the 80 marks between them. Every wrong figure is named, and the naming carries from one paper to the next.
An email address and a password, and that is the whole sign-up. Nothing to pay and no card to enter. You get a complete paper at each of three levels, so you can see for yourself how far the step up goes:
Each one is complete: every question, a named finding against every wrong figure, and the full worked solution after you submit. Not samples with the answers held back.
Take the mistake that costs most marks in Unit 1. A new partner is admitted and brings in goodwill. The student credits the old partners in their old ratio instead of the ratio in which they actually gave something up.
That is not carelessness. It is one specific confusion — used the old ratio where the sacrificing ratio belongs — and it will reappear on the next question built the same way, including the gaining ratio on a retirement, which is the same idea running backwards. So the paper names it rather than marking it wrong, and shows what each partner gave up and why that is the figure the credit follows.
Then it counts. Took this 4 of the 5 times you met it, across every question in the paper that turned on which ratio applies, wherever it appeared. Four in five is worth an evening. Once in five is a slip you can forget. A tally of wrong answers tells you neither.
One sitting gives a small denominator, and a small denominator is a guess. So the count is kept: each habit, the chances you were given, the times you took it. After half a dozen papers the figure is worth something, and it tells you where an evening is best spent.
The answers themselves are not kept. They are marked where you typed them, inside your own browser, and then they are gone. What reaches the account is the finding β which is all the arithmetic needs, and leaves nothing behind that would matter to anybody else.
Nobody else can see it. Not a teacher, not your school, not another student; there is no rank and no board to appear on. Clear it from inside your account whenever you want to start the count again.
Because in Class 12 they cover the same ground. Unit 1, Accounting for Partnership Firms, carries 36 marks and Unit 2, Accounting for Companies, carries 24 β 60 of your 80. Those two units are Chapters 10 and 11 of CA Foundation Paper 1, and they are in the CSEET syllabus too. Not similar topics: the same ones.
What rises is the pressure. A hundred marks rather than eighty, more of the working folded into a single question, and less room on the page. A student who has only ever met reconstitution one step at a time meets it three steps deep for the first time in the hall, and what fails there is not his knowledge.
Finish the CBSE paper and the entrance papers are your next gear, whether or not you sit those examinations.
A practice paper whose key disagrees with its own working teaches the very error it was meant to catch, and typed-up solutions drift away from typed-up questions all the time.
These are computed rather than typed. The question, the ledger accounts, the balance sheet and the key all fall out of a single calculation, so they cannot disagree. Before a paper is published its balance sheet is rebuilt a second time from the capital accounts and has to match; where it does not, the paper is not published.
You see the working after you submit, not before. Following a solved sum and producing one are different skills, and the examination charges you for the difference.
The two boards part company inside the chapters rather than between them, which is the kind of difference that goes unnoticed until the paper is in front of you. CBSE covers reconstitution in full, admission during an accounting year included; the CISCE syllabus leaves that out while naming retirement during the accounting year as a topic of its own.
Further down, CBSE Part B offers a choice between the analysis of financial statements with cash flow, and computerised accounting β a choice ISC does not set, and one almost every school answers the same way. Its statement of profit and loss excludes extraordinary items and discontinued operations, and debentures are set without TDS.
Material written for the union of both boards therefore spends your evenings on questions CBSE will not ask, and hurries past ones it will. Each paper here follows one syllabus and says which.
CBSE Class 12 Accountancy (055) is an 80-mark paper of three hours with 20 marks of project work. Partnership carries 36 of those marks and company accounts 24 β 60 of the 80 between them.
Three free papers are three sittings out of a year of them. The catalogue carries the rest, across all three syllabuses, every paper diagnosing figure by figure in the same vocabulary β which is what lets a count built in July still mean something in February.
Your account shows the catalogue in full, titles and all, whether or not a paper is yours yet. Anything outside your subscription appears greyed out:
βΉ999 for a year opens the CBSE route whole: CBSE Class 12 Accountancy, CA Foundation Paper 1 and CSEET Paper 2. A single payment for twelve months, with no automatic renewal.
What they mark is the numerical working and the classification of errors. Short written answers they do not mark β defining a term, giving a reason, stating a convention β and CBSE does ask for those. They are also no substitute for the 20 marks of project work, which is scored separately and at school.
No claim is made here about ranks, scores or results, and there is no affiliation with the CBSE, ICAI or ICSI. Every paper names the published syllabus it was written against.
Three finished papers β one pitched at CBSE Class 12, one at CA Foundation, one at the CSEET. Finished means a full sitting: all the questions, a named finding against each wrong figure and the whole worked solution. Nothing is held back for the paid version.
Only the diagnosis: which habit, how many chances you were given, how many you took. What you actually typed is marked inside your browser and never sent. Nobody but you can see any of it, there is no rank or leaderboard, and you can erase the history from your account whenever you choose.
Because a single paper has too few questions of any one kind to separate a habit from a bad ten minutes. Across six papers the denominator grows and the number starts to mean something. That is the whole reason to sign in rather than download a PDF.
The papers follow the published CBSE Accountancy (055) syllabus as it stands, with its 36 marks on partnership and 24 on company accounts, and each paper names on its own page the syllabus it was written against. Check that line against your schoolβs copy rather than taking our word for it.
Twelve months of the CBSE route β the remaining full-length papers across all three syllabuses. It is access to a catalogue rather than a fixed bundle: whatever that catalogue holds during your twelve months is yours to work through.
KidsGen, which publishes school material from Kolkata. These papers are written against the published syllabuses of the CBSE, the ICAI and the ICSI, and are not published by any of them or endorsed by them.
