Create a posh Jewellery Box or a keepsake box with an old plastic box or a tiffin box. You can also gift it to your siblings, they will love it! If you do not have any old box, you can always buy one from the market, they are inexpensive.

You will need the following items:

1) A Plastic box which has a hinged lid
2)Some fabric paints of colors of your choice and paint brushes
3)Some felt squares and scraps
4) Some thin paper, which you will use to make templates
Pencil, pens, PVA glue, glue spreader, scissors, and pinking shears

Procedure:-

1) Measure the top and sides of the box, and make cut out paper templates for the same. If the box has raised edges, make a templates a bit smaller, so that they fit into the flat surfaces

2) Use pins to hold the patterns and felt pieces together. Remember to choose different colors for the sides and for the top.

3)Now cut out the felt pieces. If you have pinking shears then use them, else normal scissors would do. Remember to get adult help.

4)Now stick the felt to all the sides of the box.

5)Cut out circles of felt. Some will be for the entire flower (about 4cm) , while an equal number for the flower center (smaller ones). Refer to the guide image. Cut out some stems for the flowers too, with green felt. Now stick them appropriately to make flowers.

6)Glue the flowers to the top and sides of the box.

Now write your or the recipient's name on a piece of felt with the fabric paint and paint brush. You might need adult help for this. Stick it on the top of the box. Your box is complete! Before gifting, you can put in some junk jewellry or some candies to make it wholesome!
